My A5 Domino Filofax...The Beginning

So, here is how the story goes...

One day,  a couple of months or so ago, I began watching videos on planning and organization. I have been purchasing planners almost every year since high school. I have many intentions to write everything down and follow detailed "To Do" lists. However, each year these intentions fall along the wayside and I quickly lose interest. I decided that I would make me a planner using Graphic 45's A Place in Time Collection. I began the planner while on vacation but never finished. I then decided to purchase the Martha Stewart 5.5 x 8.5 binder. I began decorating the weekly pages and found the planner very useful and I referred back to it throughout the week. Then, the inevitable...I happened upon a YouTube video and the person was talking about a Filofax. Then I watched another, then another, then another...I was fixated on this thing called a Filofax. I began researching it and looking at pictures and watching even more YouTube videos...I became enthralled. Could it be that this one item could single-handily change the way I plan my week and organize my life? So, I decided to search on Amazon and found this beautiful A5 Domino in deep pink....and thus began the addiction....

Craft Room Organization: Washi Tape Storage

I have tried a couple of different solutions for storing my washi tape. With so few rolls, you would think it would be an easy task to accomplish. I finally decided to use a small Sterilite container that sits on my table. All of my rolls can fit into one drawer. As my collection expands, I can place them in the other drawers. For now it works well!!! How do you store your washi?!

Craft Room Organization: Flower Storage

I have been cleaning and organizing my room for some time now. I feel that I will never, EVER get it all clean and organized to my satisfaction.  As I get it clean, I will share some of my storage solutions with you. First up: FLOWERS! To store my flowers I use a storage cube from Michael's.  The cube sits underneath my table. You can see in the picture that the top shelf off the cube is my Big Kick and then the drawer for my flowers.  I haven't had it here for a long time but so far so good. Each section is a different color which makes finding what color you need quickly. I just love the way they look in the compartments. All extra flowers are stored in a wall unit that I have. This was the way I stored my flowers before I put them in the drawer. I am in the process of altering the wall unit so stayed for pictures!!! Leave me a comment and tell me how you store your flowers!
